George R.R. Martin, the renowned creator of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, has distanced himself from the creative decisions made in the last seasons of “Game of Thrones.” In an interview, Martin revealed he wasn’t heavily involved in the final seasons and completed his novels, “The Winds of Winter” and “A Dream of Spring,” differently from the show’s conclusion. Fans had expressed disappointment with the series finale. Meanwhile, Martin’s involvement in the prequel “House of the Dragon” is anticipated to contribute positively to the new series, set to premiere on Aug 21 on HBO Max.
